I contributed to the Check It Out With Someone Else campaign, an initiative designed to help New Zealanders spot and avoid investment scams. The campaign encouraged people to pause and talk to someone they trust, like a friend, family member, or financial adviser before committing to online investments. Through engaging social media content, emotive imagery, and practical tips, we highlighted red flags such as unrealistic promises and pressure to act urgently. Running alongside World Investor Week and Fraud Awareness Week, the campaign achieved outstanding results: over 9.4 million impressions, a 6.29% click-through rate (our highest ever), and thousands of visits to the landing page. This work helped build investor confidence and resilience by promoting safer decision-making.
